Opening Engine Bonnet of Toyota New Kijang Innova
To open the hood :
1. Pull the lock lever liberator bonnet hood will open a slightly upward.
2. At the front of the vehicle, pull up the handle lever and lift the hood helper.
3. Remove the buffer rod of the clips. This is done by pulling the handle on the buffer rod, as shown in the picture above.
4. Hold the hood to keep it open by inserting a rod into the buffer hole.

4. Hold the hood to keep it open by inserting a rod into the buffer hole.
Before closing the hood, check to see that you are not rusted tools, wipes, etc.. and return the buffer rod to the brace to prevent knock. Then lower the hood and make sure that the bonnet lock into place. If necessary, press down gently on the front end to lock it.
